Are there any concerns or hesitations customers often have before buying your wax melts?

Can I mix Scents?

Always avoid mixing scents and enjoy one before cleaning the warmer and changing to a new scent. Extinguish the flame when not in use and place on a heat-resistant surface.

 

Do you have any tips or advice for customers on how to best use and care for their wax melts?

To achieve the best scent from wax melts, always make sure your wax warmer is clean and residue-free. Place one wax melt in the warmer or break off a piece from a waffle. Light the tea light or electric warmer, and let it melt gradually.

 

Make the most of your wax melts?

 

Electric warmers will not get as warm as a tealight and the fragrance may be slower to be released.

Always avoid mixing scents and enjoy one before cleaning the warmer and changing to a new scent. Extinguish the flame when not in use and place on a heat-resistant surface.

You can wait until the wax is cold and use a blunt knife to scrape the wax out in one piece. Never pour hot wax down the sink or the toilet as this can lead to a blockage of pipes. Wipe the melter/burner with kitchen paper.

Essential oils can cause severe damage to cats especially on the fur but also when inhaled.

 

My melts are hand poured and each one will vary. There will be slight variation in each melt but this does not affect the effect.

 

Safety advice 

 

  • Please read the safety label attached to your product before use to avoid any potential hazards.
  • Please refer to the CLP label ingredients for allergy information
  • Remove all outer packaging  before placing the wax melt in your burner/melter
  • Never overfill your burner with wax 
  • If using a tea light burner, use an unscented standard 4 hour tea light candle. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
  • Place your burner on a heat proof surface,
  • Never leave a burning flame unattended and keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Never add water or additional fragrance oils to your wax.
  • DO Not Mix scents.
  • Wax will remain hot for a short time after the heat has been removed.
  • Allow the wax to solidify before moving your burner.
  • Never pour warm wax down plug holes as this will cause a blockage and follow local regulations on disposal.
  • Wax melts may look attractive however they are not for human or animal consumption.

Terms of service

We hope you love your Kitty Angel Crafts order, however if there are any issues with your order we will of course resolve them as soon as possible. Please mail info@kittyangelcrafts.com with any refund or returns enquiries.

Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

Delivery costs will be charged in addition; such additional charges are clearly displayed where applicable and included in the ‘Total Cost’.

Wax Melts are all handmade and will vary in shape and size. Variations are not imperfections and will not affect the overall performance of the product.

 

Refund policy

We're convinced that you'll absolutely love our products, however if you receive your order and are not satisfied for any reason under the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 you can return the product for a refund within 14 days of making a purchase.

Exceptions

In line with the above Regulations, these rules do not apply to:

  • Goods and services worth £42 or less
  • WAX MELT products if the  seal has been broken we cannot guarantee sterility of scents.
  • Personalised items and custom-made items
  • Any items marked *Faulty* or *Seconds* or *Whoopsie* will be reduced and is not covered by the 14 day refund policy.

Shipping Policy

Shipping items

At Kitty Angel Crafts our wax is poured in small batches with many of our items being made to order. Please allow 3-5 days for your order to be processed before being dispatched.

We aim to post orders within 3-5 working days, however during busier periods shipping may take longer. If you would like an update on your order please email info@kittyangelcrafts.com and please quote your order number. 

Please note postal delays/strikes may impact on your expected delivery times.

We currently ship to UK Mainland (England, Scotland and Wales. We are unable to sell or process any orders going to Northern Ireland. Orders received to Northern Ireland will be cancelled and refunded. We apologise for any inconveniences. 

Once parcels have been dispatched we are unable to change the address.

We accept no responsibility for missing or stolen packages that show delivered to either the postal address or other place designated by our postage provider. 

Undelivered items left uncollected at the post office will be returned to us. If an item is requested to be resent full postage will be charged.

In order to return an order, please contact us via email first within 7 days of the date you placed your order. Returns can be mailed to: Kitty Angel Cat Hotel, 22 Bradlegh Road, Newton Le Willows, Merseyside, WA12 8QJ.  You will be responsible for paying for the shipping costs with regard to the items that you wish to return.

You must take care to ensure that the goods are properly packaged so that they will not be damaged while in transit. Items will be inspected on arrival for damage and opening before a refund is issued. Items must be received within 7 days of notifying of a return.

 

Guarantee

We guarantee your satisfaction. Any item you receive that is not in satisfactory condition we will replace, upon photographic evidence of the issue. Damage and shortages MUST be notified within 7 days of receipt of your order. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure any product is in satisfactory condition prior to use. 

Kitty Angel Crafts cannot accept any liability whatsoever for the consequences of using any products supplied in good faith that are later alleged to be in unsatisfactory condition. Any queries over the suitability or satisfactory condition of a product for its intended use must be taken up with Kitty Angel Crafts within 7 days of delivery and BEFORE they are used in any way either as a stand-alone product or within a formulation. 

Kitty Angel Crafts always strives to provide the very highest quality products and where any products is alleged to be in unsatisfactory condition we will carry out a full investigation to establish the cause of the problem, we may request the product is returned to us for investigation and we will replace the product (or provide a full refund) should the alleged unsatisfactory condition be confirmed. We regret that where a product has been used or disposed of and we are unable to carry out any investigation into the condition of the product we may be unable to replace or refund.
